Teriyaki Sauce

Teriyaki Sauce

Makes: 4 servings (1 tablespoon each)

Ingredients:

?         1/6 cup olive oil

?         1/2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger

?         1/2 tsp minced garlic

?         1/2 cup tamari soy sauce

?         1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

?         1 Tbsp white vinegar

?         10 drops liquid sugar substitute

?         1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

?         1/8 tsp orange extract

Instructions:

  • Place a skillet over medium high flame and add the olive oil. Heat up for 30 seconds, then sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  • Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tamari, vinegar, pepper, orange extract, and liquid sugar substitute.
  • Boil, then reduce flame and simmer for 8 minutes, or until thickened. Use at once.
