Stir Fried Bamboo Shoot, Broccoli and Shrimp

? 4 Tbsp olive oil
? 1 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
? 2 cups sliced bamboo shoots
? 2 Tbsp minced garlic
? 1/2 cup chopped onion
? 2 cups broccoli flowerets
? 1 tsp sesame oil
? 5 Tbsp soy sauce
? 1 tsp unsweetened rice wine vinegar
? 1 tsp Chinese five spice powder
? 1 tsp unsweetened rice wine
? 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- Place a large skillet or wok over medium high flame and heat the olive oil.
- Stir fry the shrimp and garlic for 3 minutes, then transfer onto a plate and set aside.
- Set heat to medium and stir fry the onion, bamboo shoots, and broccoli for 6 minutes then stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, five spice and black pepper.
- Put the shrimp and garlic back into the skillet and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Transfer onto a platter and serve at once.
