Smoked Trout Pate with Cucumber

? 6 oz smoked trout, skinned and de-boned
? 3 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
? 3 Tbsp grated onion
? 5 oz cream cheese
? 3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
? 3/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce, sugar free
? 2 small cucumbers, sliced into 30 rounds
? Chopped chives, as garnish
- Combine the smoked trout, lemon juice, grated onion, cream cheese, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce in a blender a food processor. Process until smooth.
- Add Tabasco sauce to taste, and more lemon juice, if needed. Process to combine.
- Arrange the cucumber slices on a platter, then spoon the trout pate on top of each slice. Top with chopped chives, then serve.
