?         6 sliced pumpkin bread

?         2 large eggs

?         4 Tbsp whipped cream

?         1 tsp vanilla extract

?         1/4 tsp orange extract

?         1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

?         4 Tbsp butter



  • Air out the pumpkin bread slices overnight to become dry.
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs together with the vanilla and orange extracts and the pumpkin pie spice.
  • Dip the pumpkin bread slices into the bowl until soaked.
  • Place a nonstick skillet over medium flame and melt some of the butter. Cook a soaked slice of bread for 1 minute per side or until browned. Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining batch. Serve at once.
