?         1/4 cup olive oil

?         2 cups chopped fresh basil

?         1 clove garlic, minced

?         1/6 cup pine nuts

?         1/8 cup freshly grated pecorino cheese

?         1/8 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

?         1/2 tsp salt



  • In a food processor or blender, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, and olive oil until well incorporated.
  • Gradually pour in the cheeses as you pulse to mix. Season with the salt and blend until you get a smooth consistency.
  • Transfer into an airtight container and refrigerate for a maximum of 3 days.
