?         3/4 cup almond flour

?         3/4 cup coconut flour

?         3 tsp baking powder

?         3/4 tsp onion powder

?         1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

?         3/4 tsp sea salt

?         2/3 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

?         1/3 cup melted butter

?         6 eggs

?         1 1/4 cups sour cream

?         1 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage

?         1 1/2 Tbsp almond flour

?         1 1/2 tsp mince garlic

?         2 cups almond milk

?         2/3 cup heavy cream

?         2 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

?         3/4 tsp sea salt

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet using parchment paper.
  • Mix together the almond and coconut flours, garlic powder, baking powder, salt, and onion powder. Gradually mix in the cheddar cheese.
  • Create a pit in the center of the flour mixture and add the eggs, sour cream, and melted butter. Mix until you have a dough.
  • With a tablespoon, scoop out the dough to form biscuits and line them up on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until pale brown and firm.
  • Meanwhile, cook the sausage in a saucepan over medium high flame, breaking up into small pieces. Cook until browned, then add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Stir in the almond flour, then set the flame to medium low and continue to cook until the sausage grease and almond flour are thoroughly combined.
  • Stir in the almond milk, followed by the heavy cream. Set heat to medium high and cook for 3 minutes or until gravy thickens.
  • Set heat to medium low and season the gravy with salt and pepper. Mix well, then bring to a simmer. Once simmering, reduce heat to lowest possible setting.
  • Take the biscuits out of the oven and set on a wire rack to cool. Transfer the gravy into a gravy float and serve alongside the biscuits.
