Apple, Beet and Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients:

         2 small beets, boiled until tender

         ½red apple, cored and sliced

         2 small carrots, peeled and chopped

         2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder

         2 cups almond milk, unsweetened

         2 cups ice cubes

         1/4 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated

         2 oz chopped walnuts

         Cinnamon

 

Instructions:

  • Peel the boiled beets and slice into cubes.
  • Combine the beet, ginger, carrot, and apple in a high power blender. Add the almond milk and blend until smooth.
  • Add the protein powder, ice cubes, walnuts, and a dash of cinnamon.
  • Cover and blend on high until smooth. Pour into a tumbler and enjoy!
